Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

This website and the coaching sessions are provided by Akash Jindal ("we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@theakashjindal.com.

2. What we provide

One-to-one online coaching sessions on Google Meet, as described on our pricing page: Be Job Ready (CV, LinkedIn and cover letter review) and Interview Prep (mock interview and feedback). Sessions are delivered by Akash or by another coach who works with us. Your booking confirmation shows your coach.

3. Booking and payment

• The price is shown before you pay and is the total you pay.
• You pay in full when you book, through our payment provider, Razorpay. We never see or store your full card details.
• Your booking is confirmed when we email you a confirmation.
• If we have to refuse a booking (for example because of an obvious pricing error), we'll tell you and refund you in full.

4. What coaching is, and isn't

• Coaching is guidance to help you improve your CV, LinkedIn profile and interview performance.
• We don't guarantee interviews, job offers, visa sponsorship or any other outcome. Employers make their own decisions.
• We don't give immigration, visa, legal, tax or financial advice.
• We don't apply for jobs or contact employers on your behalf.

5. Your part

• Give us accurate information when you book.
• Send your CV at least 24 hours before your session by replying to your confirmation email.
• Join on time, and be respectful. We may end a session if a coach is treated abusively.
• Don't record a session unless you and your coach both agree first.
• Your booking is for you. Please don't share the meeting link.

6. On the day

Sessions start and end at the booked time. If you join late, the session still ends on time. If you haven't joined within 10 minutes, the session counts as delivered. If a problem on our side stops the session, we'll rearrange it at no cost or refund you.

7. Changes and cancellations

Changing the time, cancelling and refunds are covered in our refunds and cancellations policy, which forms part of these terms. It doesn't affect your legal rights.

8. Materials

Notes, screenshots and resources we send you are for your own personal use. Your CV and anything you share with us stay yours. We use them only to prepare for and deliver your sessions.

9. Reviews

After a session we may ask for a review. We only publish reviews you give us permission to publish. We publish them in your words (any shortening is marked "…"), and we'll remove yours if you ask.

10. Our responsibility to you

• We provide every session with reasonable care and skill.
• We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable when you booked, or for business losses.
• Otherwise, our total responsibility for a session is limited to the price you paid for it.
• Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Complaints

Please email hello@theakashjindal.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month. See contact for our grievance officer.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you book applies to that booking.
